MOVING ON: YESTERYEARS

AT LAST, THE TIME IS NOW

TIME TO LET GO,

FIVE BREAKUPS, FOUR YEARS OF NOTHING

I NOW UNDERSTAND WHAT LIFE IS ALL ABOUT

LIFE IS A METAPHOR

A KNOWN MYSTERY

A CONFINED BUT YET REVEALED SECRET

GONE ARE THE DAYS I WOULD SIT CRYING AND HOPING

WISHING AND BELIEVING

THAT THE BLUES COULD TURN STILL BLUE

HOPING YOU WILL BE HERE TO UNDO MY TEARS

UN-BREAK MY SOUL

ALAS, I WAS WRONG

SEASONS HAVE COME AND GONE

SO MUCH WATERS PASSED UNDER THE BRIDGE

LIFE IS JUST A METAPHOR

JUST ONE FINAL STEP

JUST ONE FINAL DECISION

JUST ONE FINAL ACTION

AND I JUST GUESS

IT IS TIME TO MOVE ON

TO THE NEXT PHASE

GOODBYE YESTERYEARS

And all those heartbreaks lead us on a journey…and maybe take us to exactly where we are supposed to be.

A lot of hardship can be packed into a year…but we must struggle through it, must keep pushing on. So it goes, c’est la vie, it is the nature of the world. Touching poem, may the hope always live on.

Amen to that, my friend! Brooding over something never really gets anything anyway… So, one may as well do something constructive! 🙂

  18. 2zpoint says:

Look at it in this way. Tomorrow brings hope…I have held on to this belief and it still holds true:
For every thing that I have ever lost…for every bad thing that has ever happen…something better has come along to take its place.
Things happen in perfect time…just not our perfect time and always for a reason.Peace be with you.
